Plot of the movie Wrong Turn (2003 film):
Medical student Chris Filin is on his way to an important interview, but gets stuck in a massive traffic jam on the way.
Chris tries to contact by mobile phone and warn about his delay. But as luck would have it, there was no phone connection on this section of the road. Then Chris decided to go around the traffic jam and turned onto an unfamiliar country road. Soon on his way there was an old gas station, where, apparently, there should have been a phone.
There really was a phone here, but it turned out to be out of order. But Chris saw a map on the wall, which showed a forest road. Following it, he could significantly shorten his route.
In this devilish series of strange events, Chris did not notice any pattern. However, following this right road, he felt some kind of approaching danger.

Picking up speed, Chris lost his vigilance for a moment and crashed into a car parked almost in the middle of the road. Its passengers turned out to be five young people (two guys and three girls).
All the tires of their car were punctured. Someone had deliberately stretched barbed wire across the road, which they had not noticed. Now they were all without transport, and they had to look for help.
Having set out in search of some kind of dwelling in these places, they stumble upon an old wooden house. And although the owners of the house were not there, it was felt that there was a stormy life here.
The curiosity led the young people to this strange house, from which the spirit of death emanated. The terrible finds in the form of dismembered human bodies horrified them, but it was too late to run. A car drove up to the house, as old and gloomy as this terrible house…
