The plot of the movie Sobibor (movie 2018):
The action of the movie takes place in 1943. In the Nazi camp "Sobibor"another batch of Jews from German-occupied territories arrives in Poland.
So far the people do not yet realize where they have been brought, for the Germans promise to resettle them soon in the captured lands in the East.
Instead, however, what awaited the people were crematoria and gas chambers, hard labor and constant abuse by camp staff.
For the slightest offense, a person could pay with his life, and for escaping the camp from the Germans shot every tenth prisoner.
Very soon all the inhabitants of "Sobibor" realized that they could not get out of this hell alive. A few Red Army prisoners, led by Red Army officer Alexander Pechersky, decide to revolt in the camp.
They have very little time to prepare, because at any moment one of them could die, and thus disrupt the entire plan of the rebellion...
As a result of the uprising, more than four hundred prisoners escaped from the death camp. One hundred of them died in the escape, and about one hundred more were captured by locals and handed over to the Germans.
And the camp itself was soon wiped off the face of the earth by the Nazis as a symbol of the shame of the Third Reich....
