The plot of the movie Sportlotto 82:

There are four people in a compartment of a train heading for the sea. The cheerful but very absent-minded Kostya, the beautiful Tanya, the silent Misha and the solid man San Sanych. The three young people were going to the sea to rest. Kostya at his aunt's house in a private house, Tanya with her young man in the camp of motorists. And Misha at the tourist base "Eagle Shelter".

And only San Sanych was going to the South not to rest, but to work. He and his younger companion Stepan were going to sell oranges, a scarce commodity, to vacationers.

In the meantime, the passengers in the compartment were reading a new detective novel with fascination. The first to break the calm was Kostya, who was reading the book with such enthusiasm that he didn't notice how he had destroyed not only his food supplies, but Tanya's as well.

As the road was still long, at the nearest station Kostya replenished his stores of food. And with the change he bought a ticket Sportlotto 82, which he solemnly handed to Tanya. After Tanya filled out the lottery ticket at his insistent request, Kostya put it into Tanya's book.

The only problem was that they all had the same books. And in a hurry, people often change things involuntarily. Of course, no one would ever notice that they had taken someone else's copy of a book with the same title. But this time they did.

The thing is that this lottery ticket, unlike a million others, turned out to be quite lucky. It brought Tanya twenty thousand rubles in winnings. However, because of Kostya's absent-mindedness, she might not have gotten it. After all, he had put the ticket into another book by mistake.

After Kostya checked his copy of the book and San Sanych's copy, it became obvious that the lucky ticket was in Misha's version. However, Misha had already left Eagle's Haven and went to the railroad station along the tourist route.

Kostya and Tanya follow him on a shorter route, hoping to intercept Mikhail on the way. However, now they had strong competitors in the person of San Sanych and his young companion Stepan, who, having learned about the big winnings, decided to seize them....
