Dumb and Dumber 2 – is a 2014 American comedy film directed by the Farrelly brothers. It is a sequel to the 1994 cult comedy Dumb and Dumber.

Plot:
Twenty years have passed. Because of his unhappy love for Mary Swanson, Lloyd Christmas ends up in a madhouse, where his bosom friend Harry Dunn has been visiting him for twenty years. But one day, Lloyd stuns Harry with his confession: all these twenty years he only pretended to be crazy, so that one day he could play a prank on his old friend.
Upon learning that Lloyd had sacrificed the best twenty years of his life just to make fun of him, Harry not only wasn't offended by him, but also began to admire Lloyd.
However, after the joy of his friend Lloyd's "miraculous healing", Harry complains to him that he himself has serious health problems: he has a fatal disease and only a kidney replacement can save his life. Lloyd advises Harry to contact his parents, because only relatives can help in such a matter.
But Harry, who had not visited his parents for over twenty years, doubted that they would help, and when he and Lloyd finally decided to visit the old people, Harry, to his great chagrin, learned that he was an adopted son.
In his parents' house, Harry collects all the mail that has accumulated over twenty years in his name, and from one letter addressed twenty years ago to a certain Frida Felcher, he learns that he may have a daughter. Upon hearing this, Lloyd offers to immediately find this very daughter, who is now the only blood relative of poor Harry in the world, and the only one who can save him.
When Harry's daughter was found, Lloyd suddenly found out that her father was not Harry at all, but himself. Having learned that Penny was his daughter, Lloyd now did not want her to donate her kidney for Harry, so he decided to give his kidney to poor Harry himself.
But when the kidney was removed, Lloyd learns that Harry didn't need it at all, because he was completely healthy and just decided to play a little prank on Lloyd. In addition, poor Lloyd learns that Fraida Fletcher was a call girl, and besides him and Harry, hundreds of her other clients could just as easily claim Penny's paternity...
