Plot Please blame Klava K for my death.:

The action of the movie takes place in the 70s of the last century in Russia. Parents bring Seryozha Lavrov to kindergarten for the first time, but the boy does not want to part with his parents and throws a tantrum. To calm Seryozha the teacher urgently calls a girl from his future group, Klava Klinkova. Seeing Klava, Seryozha immediately stops crying, giving his parents a moment to leave in a hurry.

From then on Seryozha and Klava became inseparable friends. When they were at school, Sergei always did Klava's homework for her, carried her briefcase and gave her presents. Sergei's father began to notice that various things began to disappear from the house: imported felt-tip pens he had brought his son from Bulgaria, his barometer, and even his younger brother's toys.

All his father's attempts to influence his son were unsuccessful, Sergei was as if under hypnosis. The situation changed only when Sergei and Klava became high school students.

This long friendship grew into love for Sergei, but for Klava he remained just a friend. Sergei Lavrov was an excellent student, winner of all school Olympiads in mathematics, school chess champion, and a favorite of the girls.

He was in love with his classmate Tanya Ishchenko, although she knew that Sergei's heart belongs to her best friend Klava Klinkova, for whom Sergei was just a toy, and a lot of boredom.

Klava's attention was lately focused on Lavrik, a new boy from the parallel class. Lavrik, like Sergei, was an excellent chess player who had once played a draw with the famous grandmaster Mikhail Tal.

One day Sergei, Klava, Tanya and Lavrik went to a dance. Lavrik was supposed to be courting Tanya, but Sergei began to notice that he was looking at Klava.

Klava also cast promising glances at Lavrik, and when slow music started playing on the dance floor, it was Klava who asked Lavrik to dance. Sergei was furious at Klava's behavior and instantly hated his rival.

When the dance was over, Sergei, after seeing Klava home, tried to kiss her, but she turned away from him with the fury of an angry cat. Sergei returned home in a depressed mood, and the next day all his worst fears were confirmed. Clava, as the night before, was cold to him, and all his attempts to make conversation were irritably cut off.

Sergei even tried to start a fight with Lavrik, but Lavrik was very respectful of Sergei and did not want to fight. Then Sergei declares to Klava that she will never see him again. To fulfill his promise, he goes to the cliff by the river, but Lavrik and Tanya, having learned that Sergei decided to commit suicide, follow him and prevent him from committing suicide.

At this time Sergei's parents feel that something wrong is happening to their son. Having made a search in Sergey's room they find a note with terrible words: "Please blame Klava K for my death". That would take their son out of severe depression parents decide to take the children and hurriedly go on vacation in the mountains.

After returning home, Sergei begins to ignore Klava, not saying hello to her even at school. Now he tries to court Tanya, but he sees his beloved in every girl he passes by, and this cannot escape Tanya's eyes.

One day Sergei and Klava meet by chance in town, and Klava explains to him why she chose Lavrik over him and asks Sergei to forgive her. Losing all hope, Sergei goes to Tanya and confesses his love for her. But Tanya does not believe him; she feels that Sergei will always love Klava....
