Plot of the movie Alyoshkin's Love:
The action of the movie takes place in the summer of 1960. A young intelligent guy Alyoshka dreams of entering the geological exploration institute, and to gain experience he decides to work with geologists. But instead he is sent to drillingwhere Alyoshka has to perform various auxiliary works.
At first Alyosha was a burden in the brigade, no matter what work they put him on, the novice geologist failed everywhere. But one day Alyoshka together with Arkady is sent to fetch water. On the road, the car radiator boiled, and Arkady stopped it at the crossing at the house of the railroader. At Arkady's request Alyosha goes to the house to get a bucket and here he meets a girl, Zina, with whom he falls in love at first sight.
Now every day Alyoshka asks the brigadier to go with Arkady to fetch water, and soon Arkady guesses the reason for such zeal.

Arkady tells his brigade mates about it all and Alyoshkin's love becomes a new topic for ridicule. And soon in Alyoshka's brigade rumors leaked that his love Zina, a stroppy and narcissistic girl, because so many prominent guys gave a turn-turn, that there is no place for Alyoshka.
But Alyoshka did not react to these remarks, and even when the trips for water were canceled, he began to walk to the cherished house at the crossing. But the drillers' base was constantly moving, and with each crossing Alyoshka had to walk farther and farther.
At first Zina laughed at this timid and shy gentleman, so unlike those who tried to court her before.
