Narrative:

On June 28, 1914, the Crown Prince of the Austrian throne, ex-Duke Franz Ferdinand, was assassinated in Sarajevo. Formally, this was the reason for the outbreak of one of the bloodiest wars in human history, although the true causes of this apocalypse were much deeper.

Economic imperialism, trade barriers, militarism and territorial claims were the main causes of World War I, which involved dozens of countries from all continents. During World War I, more than 70 million people were mobilized into the army, more than 10 million died and more than 55 million were wounded.

As a result of World War I, four empires collapsed: the Ottoman, Russian, and German Austro-Hungarian empires. After the end of the war, the victorious countries established the League of Nations, an international body designed to solve various international problems in a peaceful manner. However, many experts believed that the states that remained dissatisfied with the result of World War I would sooner or later want revenge, which would lead to an even more terrible war...
