Narrative:
The action of the film "A Man Without a Passport" takes place in the mid-60s of the last century. Soviet counterintelligence agencies detained an agent of Western intelligence services, Semyon Grigorievich Zabluda, call sign "Pastor", who during interrogation gives up his contact, a certain Fyodor Katko, with whom he was supposed to meet at the Rossiya movie theater.
The detectives set up surveillance on Katko, but he, feeling the surveillance, tries to escape. While escaping pursuit, Katko dies under the wheels of a car, but in his pocket the detectives find a microfilm with an image of the city of Priozersk, near which there was a secret military-industrial facility.
The operatives go to Priozersk, but finding an unknown person in this small town turns out to be a difficult task. It is also unclear how the enemy agent could film the city from the air, since he did not have a helicopter or a plane at his disposal. However, the operatives manage to solve this puzzle, realizing that the agent could have used carrier pigeons to film, but finding the person who bred pigeons in Priozersk was much easier...
