Narrative:

The action of the film "Knight of the Gold Star" takes place in the early 50s of the last century. Front-line soldier, Hero of the Soviet Union, Sergei Tutarinov, having been demobilized from the army, returns to his native land in Kuban.

At first, Tutarinov plans to visit his parents and then go to study, but seeing how his native village has become impoverished during the war, he decides to stay.

Having become a Knight of the Gold Star for the tank breakthrough near Kantemirovka, Tutarinov now had to make a breakthrough on the labor front, especially since a real battle for the harvest had been declared in the country.

Accustomed to unconventional thinking at the front, Tutarinov proposes his five-year plan for the restoration of the village, the basis of which was the electrification of the region.
