Plot:

The action of the film "Stars on Wings" takes place in the mid-50s of the last century. During a training flight, a cadet of the military school of naval aviation Nikolai Kurenyuk deviates from the task and tries to perform a complex and dangerous element "vertical spin".

The command did not appreciate Kurenyuk's courage and instead of an excellent grade he received a reprimand. However, this did not stop the daredevil and a few days later during another scientific flight he made a dangerous dive over a collective farm fishing boat. For this offense, considering Kurenyuk's past "merits" he faces expulsion from the school, and this is only a few weeks before graduation.
