The plot of the movie Soldier Ivan Brovkin:
Ivan Bovkin, the first guy in the village, sang well and played the harmonica. No wedding could do without him.
But Ivan was among the laggards in his work. Ivan was a negligent collective farmer and for this he was nicknamed "Neputy".
And then one day Ivan Brovkin received a summons from the military enlistment office. And the collective farm authorities breathed a sigh of relief.
After all, for a few years, while Brovkin would be in the army, they could sleep easy. After Ivan had nearly drowned the collective farm machine, he was afraid to be trusted with any work with machinery. And during the years of service in the army, he will improve.
But at first Brovkin's service did not go well, and here he became known as a troublemaker. For his negligence Brovkin constantly received reprimands from his commanders, and once he decided to be heard at a Komsomol meeting.

Almost all of his army comrades who spoke at this meeting branded Brovkin a disgrace, causing him to blush and stare at the floor.
But suddenly, his immediate commander stands up for Brovkin. He informs the meeting that Brovkin gave him his word to change his attitude to service. And if a Komsomol member has given his word, he will definitely keep it.
But this made Brovkin even more ashamed, for he had not given any honest word. But now, when the commander so bravely stood up for him, he was ready to give such a word.
And Brovkin gave his word, and not just gave it, but kept it. And by the end of the first year of service he became an excellent in combat and political training.
And once the gunner of the artillery detachment soldier Ivan Brovkin showed excellent results at the firing. And for this the command awards him the most valuable encouragement.
And the most valuable encouragement for a soldier was a short vacation to his homeland. Now Ivan held his head high as he headed for a visit to his native village.
After all, now he will not be ashamed to look in the eyes of his fellow villagers, and no one will now say that he is a fool ...
