Plot of the series The King of Tulsa (TV Series 2022):

Dwight "The General" Manfredi, a notorious figure in the world of organized crime, was recently released from prison after 25 years. In the late 1990s, he took the blame for a murder committed by the son of a New York mob boss, Invernizzi. Now he hopes to receive financial compensation.

However, during this time, the Mafia family underwent significant changes. The head of the family became a sick old man, and his son, Charles Invernizzi, known as "Chicchi", was unable to improve the business, giving way to competitors.

Fearing that Manfredi might take over his position after his release from prison, Cicchi convinces his father to get rid of him. As a result, the elder Invernizzi decides to send Dwight to Tulsu, a small town in Oklahoma located hundreds of miles from New York City.

This remote town was not under the control of the Invernizzi family, but there was no criminal power there either.

And, according to Invernizzi, Dwight was supposed to set things up there and pay his share into the family's "common fund."

And at first Manfredi did just that. However, soon old Invernizzi died and his place in the family was taken by "Chicki", with whom Dwight had no further ties. Meanwhile, Manfredi's business in Tulsa grew and prospered, causing envy not only among "Chicki", but also among local mafiosi.

After all, Tulsa has long been the sphere of influence of the Kansas City Mafia family. And so the local mafia bosses demanded a share of Dwight's business. Offended by Manfredi, "Chickey" tries to unite against him with the Kansas boss. However, Dwight manages to outplay his opponents and pit them against each other...
