Plot:
The action of the film "I do not guarantee personal safety" takes place in the spring of 1946. It has been almost a year since the end of war, but in the Western regions of the USSR there was unrest.
Vlasovites, former policemen, nationalists and just criminals, having gone into the forest, organized armed gangs, which became a real threat to Soviet power in border villages and small towns.
A graduate of the Leningrad Party School, Bologov, was sent to one of these border villages as an authorized representative of the district committee for logging. From the first days, Bologov saw how the local population was intimidated by bandits, and how can logging be organized if people are afraid to approach the forest at cannon shot?
The young communist Bologov faces a difficult task: to break the fear of bandits and to inspire trust in the authorities, because during the war years people have forgotten that there is justice in the world...
