Plot:
The action of the film "Love in Russian" takes place in the early 90s in Russia. A young entrepreneur Mikhail meets his old acquaintance Olga Krylova at the Moscow train station, who is heading to her small homeland, a small farmstead in the Pskov region.
There, her aunt died and left her a house as an inheritance, which Polina was going to sell. And Mikhail, who had long been in love with Polina, volunteers to go with her and help sell the house at a good price.
However, a buyer for the house, a certain businessman from the new Russians Gavrilov, had been there for a long time and was just waiting for Polina to arrive. To Mikhail's surprise, Gavrilov offered a huge amount of money for the house, which could have been used to buy an apartment in Moscow and a car to boot. This interested Mikhail, and he suggested that perhaps Polina's ancestors had hidden some ancient valuables in the house.
But soon he learns that the farmers, Polina's neighbors, also received such offers, but refused, and now Gavrilov's henchmen have begun to threaten them. Mikhail tries to uncover the secret of Gavrilov's unhealthy interest in the local land, and one day learns from local residents that the local water has high healing properties. In addition, Mikhail learns that in the old days there was a hunting lodge here for high-ranking party officials.

Having realized this, Mikhail comes up with a bold idea: to build a sanatorium here, and with this proposal he approaches Polina's neighbors, farmers who rented land on the farm. Mikhail invites them to become partners and co-founders of the new enterprise, and they agree.
The concessionaires approached the village council chairman with their idea, but he was forced to turn them down because Gavrilov had already proposed the idea first. But the partners, who owned the land legally, did not want to simply hand it over to a crook like Gavrilov and reported his threats to the police.
But at that time, the police had already been completely bought by people like Gavrilov and therefore, soon Gavrilov showed up at the farm again. He told his companions that he would also resolve the issue in court in his favor and suggested that they surrender amicably. And the next day, the companions saw a tractor approaching their farm, accompanied by a police UAZ.
The friends realized that it was Gavrilov who had initiated the raider takeover of their property. Having blocked the road with logs, the friends took up defensive positions with weapons in their hands, and an old anti-tank gun from the war, which one of the farmers had found in his barn, came in handy…
