The plot of the series Revenge (TV series 2010):

The action of the series unfolds in 1997. Beginning businessman Philip Kudasov, having borrowed a large sum of money from criminal authority Vasily Mikhailovich, goes for goods to Turkey, but on the way back he has big trouble at customs and all the goods are confiscated.

Nevertheless, the debt had to be repaid, otherwise the bandits threatened to kill Kudasov. Philip had already had time to say goodbye to his life, but suddenly his childhood friend Rodion Sidorsky, who was the financial brains of Vasily Mikhailovich's gang, comes to his aid.

Sidorsky had big plans in his hometown of Yasnogorsk and persuades Kudasov to become his partner. Soon the companions open an investment fund in the city, with the help of which they plan to buy shares in the cable plant, the largest enterprise in Yasnogorsk.

But the local oligarch Merkulov has his eye on this enterprise and manages to lure Kudasov to his side. Philip has always been the second in his and Rodion's team, and besides, his love for Natalia, Sidorsky's wife, pushed him to betray him.

As a result, Sidorsky ends up behind bars, while Kudasov's career is skyrocketing thanks to Merkulov. He becomes not only the largest shareholder of the enterprise, but also the mayor of Yasnogorsk.

However, Sidorsky was not going to back down so easily. Revenge is a dish served cold, and Sidorsky knew how to wait and carefully plan all his moves...
