The plot of the show Gangster Petersburg 2. Lawyer:
The action of the series unfolds in 1982. Childhood friends Sergei Chelishchev and Oleg Zvantsev from school are in love with their classmate Katya Goncharova
After school, the three of them enter the law faculty of Leningrad University, where their childhood friendship continues.
However, Katya realizes that it can't go on like this for long. Sooner or later she will have to make a choice in favor of one of her friends, and it was a very difficult choice.
But a way out has been found. Unexpectedly, Katya informs her Oleg and Sergei that she is getting married and leaving for Moscow. However, this decision did not please the friends at all, who were not ready to cede Katya to anyone, not even to each other.
Soon after, Oleg drops out of university and goes into the Army. A few years later, Sergei learns that his best friend has been killed in Afghanistan.

In this troubled time, Sergei works as an investigator in the city prosecutor's office, making ends meet on a modest salary.
But one day a tragedy burst into Sergei's life. His parents, with whom Chelishchev had recently had a complicated relationship, were killed by a murderer.
But this murder turned everything in Sergey's soul upside down. And when his fellow investigators closed the case, he leaves the prosecutor's office.
