Narrative:
The action of the movie "Slumdog Millionaire" takes place in India. Eighteen-year-old Jamal Malik participates in the show "Who wants to be a millionaire. The whole of India watches with bated breath as the uneducated boy, an orphan from a slum in Mumbai, successfully reaches the finals of the show.
And here, finally, is the last question. Twenty million rupees are at stake, and the host offers Jamil to take the money - ten million rupees, but the guy stubbornly insists on continuing the game. Due to the end of the airtime, the host is forced to call a break until the next day, and in the meantime informs the police that Jamil is a fraud.
The cops are literally trying to get a confession of fraud out of Jamil, because even famous scientists could not win more than sixteen thousand rupees in the show, and here some ragamuffin from the slums, won ten million.
Having failed to get any confession from Jamil by torture, the investigator decided to simply talk to this stubborn boy. Jamil's story shocked the investigator, it was a story of life struggle and great love. Life has separated him from his favorite girl Latika and so that Latika could find him, Jamil goes to the show "Who wants to become a millionaire", which is watched by the whole country....
