Narrative:

The movie takes place in 1941, in the first weeks of the Great Patriotic War. The Red Army, cut by the Wehrmacht's tank strikes, is rapidly rolling back. Divisions, corps and even whole armies are encircled and die, and units and units that survived the battles are hastily retreating, leaving the enemy large and small towns, villages and settlements ...

A few days before the war, Lieutenant Suvorov was appointed platoon commander in a rifle regiment, but in the first days of the war the regiment came under heavy artillery fire from the Germans and was almost all killed. Lieutenant Suvorov and a few men from his platoon survived the entire regiment.
