Plot:

Action of the film Night crew takes place in the late 80s, in the USSR. A student Vocational school Petukhov "Petukh" - decided to visit his "favorite" school, from which he was kicked out two years ago. "Petukh" wanted to prove to everyone that he did not regret at all that he got into a vocational school, because he would soon receive a specialty of a car mechanic and would earn much more than any scientists. In order for his visit to the school to be noticed, Petukhov decided to make it look cheap. During the graduation party, he rode into the hall on a white horse, which he and his friends "Balda" and "Malysh" had stolen from the zoo.

This appearance of "Rooster" was liked by snotty, graduating girls who loved cheap effects. But the teachers and parents of these same girls did not like this prank of the hooligan at all. When "Rooster", like a real horseman, decided to kidnap one girl and put her on a horse, the graduate's father grabbed the hooligan and threw him off the horse. "Rooster" and his friends manage to get away, but the enraged father suggests catching up with the hooligans and handing them over to the police.

The school principal Vera Ivanovna Madonova asks the fathers to calm down, because the teenagers just decided to joke and prove something to someone. Vera Ivanovna knew that first of all Petukhov was trying to prove to her that he was worthy of her daughter Nina. Petukhov and Nina loved each other, but Nina's mother - the school principal - could not allow her daughter to date a poor student and a hooligan.

Having safely escaped their parents' pursuit, the friends do not want to go home on such an evening and are thinking about how to have more fun. Having taken possession of a taxi, the hooligans are delighted with their impunity, not thinking about the consequences.

Soon Nina Madonova becomes a member of the night crew, she learned that Petukhov and his friends stole a car, and tried to reason with the friends. Nina decides to go with them and try to influence Petukhov, who was the leader of the hooligans. In the morning, "Balda" suggests that his friends grab his friend, the nurse Katya, and go to the dacha to relax.

On the way, the guys decided to swim in the lake. The fun was in full swing when a patrol car pulled up to the lake. The adventure could have ended without losses if "Rooster" had not decided to play at being noble. Seeing the police approaching, he immediately gets into the "Volga" and tries to distract the pursuers. But Nina, feeling responsible for Petukhov, rushes after him. In the back seat, they notice "Baby", who was peacefully sleeping during the general fun.

The chase begins. "Rooster" plans to break away from his pursuers in order to drop Nina and "Baby" off somewhere unnoticed, but this time he fails to control the "Volga". The impact with concrete slabs laid for the construction of the road turned the car around, and "Rooster" flew out of it. Lying on the ground, Petukhov watches as the car with Nina and "Baby" slowly rolls into the abyss, and a heart-rending scream escapes from his chest...
