Narrative:
The action of the movie Fun of the young takes place in the USSR, at the end of the 80s. The former famous gymnast Anton Mikhailovich Gorshkov, after a car accident, leaves the big sport and goes to teach physical education in a financial and economic technical school.
One day, an elderly and principled gym teacher does not allow a group of senior students, who systematically skipped classes, to take a test. In order to "soften" the teacher, the truant students decide to send Svetlana Bobyleva to him, who was supposed to make the intractable Gorshkov fall in love with her.
The first visit of Bobyleva to Gorshkov did not bring any result: the gym teacher did not fall for the young beauty, and puts her out of the door. In turn, Gorshkov paid a visit to Bobyleva's parents, he tried to inform them that Svetlana got involved with a very bad company.
Failure to seduce Gorshkov, very upset her truant friends, and they ask her to try again. Particularly insistent was Pan, Sveta's young man, whom she could not refuse.

When Svetlana came to Gorshkov's house again, she informed him that she had left home and had nowhere to spend the night. This time Anton Mikhailovich did not drive the girl away and left her for the night. The next day Pan demanded from Svetlana that she should go and report Gorshkov to the administration of the technical school, but she refused, the girl realized that she was very sympathetic to Anton Mikhailovich.
When forcing Sveta to seduce Gorshkov, Pan had no idea that it could go so far. The fact that Svetlana spent the night at Gorshkov's place was, in his opinion, too much, so he informed the director of the technical school and Sveta's parents about it.
Gorshkov was forced to leave the technical school, but Sveta's parents demand that he leave town altogether. Gorshkov himself realizes that he is not a match for this young girl, but before leaving he decides to tear her out of the rotten company in which she revolved. Gorshkov goes to the disco and takes Sveta in front of all her company. This completely pisses Pan off, and he and his friends trap Gorshkov and Sveta in a dark alley....
