Plot:

The action of the film "The Glass Labyrinth" takes place in the early 80s of the last century. The main character of the film, Sasha Lukashov, in his youth had everything that an ordinary Soviet person could only dream of. Together with his parents, who worked abroad, he lived in a prestigious "general's" house, in a large comfortable apartment.

Jeans, foreign clothes, tape recorders, records and other attributes of the "sweet" life, which were simply unavailable to most of his peers, were a usual thing for Sasha. For outsiders, Lukashov's life was already painted in rosy colors: a prestigious institute, a prestigious job and even abroad, and someone at this time had to stand at the machine and lay bricks.

Only Sasha Lukashov chose a different life. He dropped out of college, went to a vocational school, where he got involved with guys from a completely different social environment: Sergei Fomin, nicknamed "Boniface" and Lesha Eremin "Grey". They, in turn, were friends with a certain "Alchemist", Alfimov, a recidivist who "rubbed" the guys about gangster romance and prison life.

But these conversations of the "Alchemist" had no effect on Sasha, and this irritated the latter very much. And he also really didn't like that this "general's" son looked at him with obvious contempt and didn't consider him a human being, so the "Alchemist" dreamed that one day Lukashov would land on the bunks and understand what real proletarian solidarity is.

And one day, the "Alchemist's" dream came true. Sasha, "Boniface" and "Seryi", being intoxicated, commit hooligan acts in the zoo, as a result of which a doe dies. No one would have found out anything, but "Seryi" blurts it out to the "Alchemist", who offers to hush up the matter if Lukashov comes to him personally and asks for forgiveness.

Sasha had little choice: either go to prison or bow to this criminal scum. He was ready to go to prison, but what would happen to his family and friends? What a disgrace awaits his parents, and most likely they will lose their prestigious jobs abroad.

Only for their sake Sasha agrees to go to the "Alchemist", but the criminal was not satisfied with Sasha's apologies. Realizing that the guy is trapped, "Alchemist" decides to publicly humiliate him in front of his gangster friends, which leads to a new, even more terrible tragedy...
