Narrative:

The film "One Night" takes place in 1942. A Soviet bomber, heading on a combat mission behind enemy lines, was shot down by the Germans over one of the occupied cities.

Not finding the crew members at the crash site, the Germans organize a real hunt for them. However, thanks to the Russian girl Varya, the Red Army soldiers manage to safely hide on the roof of one of the destroyed houses.

Risking her life, Varya helps the pilots wait out the raid and quietly escape behind the front lines, but Varya herself, on the denunciation of a provocateur, falls into the hands of the fascists...
