Narrative:

The action of the seriesSmersh. Legend for a Traitor" takes place in 1944. An employee of the 4th department of the military counterintelligence department "SMERSH", Sergeant Martov, is captured by the Germans while carrying out a special mission.

Having agreed to cooperate, Martov was enrolled in Abwehrkommando 166M, located in the Baltics. Considering that Martov knew some employees of the 4th department and the front's "SMERSH", the leadership of the counterintelligence department decided to temporarily suspend the deployment of agents behind enemy lines.

However, it was physically impossible to carry out this decision, because the plane with one of the agents was already in the air. Lieutenant Alexei Kravtsov, according to the legend Vakhlakov Oleg Petrovich, the son of a dispossessed peasant, was to infiltrate the very same intelligence school where the traitor Martov operated…
