Narrative:
On April 12, 1961, for the first time in the history of human civilization, the Vostok spacecraft entered near-earth orbit. The spacecraft was piloted by a citizen of the USSR Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, who went down in history as the first person to travel into space.
But the film "So the Legend Was Born" does not tell about this first historic flight that opened the way to space for humanity. This film tells about the childhood of the first cosmonaut, because it was in childhood that the foundation of courage and selflessness was laid, which made Yuri Gagarin the first cosmonaut of the Earth.
