Plot of the series Death to Spies: Crimea:

The film takes place in the autumn-winter of 1944/1945 in Crimea. On a train from Bucharest, during border control, a border service officer had doubts about the documents of Senior Lieutenant Koshkin. The border guard demanded that Koshkin go with him, but unexpectedly Koshkin opened fire, killing the senior border guard.

Koshkin himself was also fatally wounded by border guards in a shootout, he urgently needed medical assistance. The seriously wounded Koshkin asks for this assistance to be provided to him immediately, in exchange he promises to tell the whole truth. Before his death, Koshkin manages to say that he is a German agent and is heading to Koktebel to contact the resident.

Koshkin does not have time to provide the resident's last name, address, and passwords for communication, and therefore, instead of him, an officer of the department is sent to Koktebel SMERSH (Death to Spies) Captain Roshchin. Before Roshchin's arrival, several deaths occur in the village, which at first glance look like accidents. But SMERSH officers assumed that all these deaths were not accidents, but carefully planned and carried out murders, which are connected with the work of German agents in Crimea.

The thread leads the SMERSH detectives to a certain German aviation engineer, Heinrich Juncker, who had arrived in Russia before the revolution and was now probably in charge of the entire spy network in Crimea, where a meeting of the heads of the allied countries was soon to take place: the USSR, the USA and Great Britain.

The intelligence officers realized that Juncker and his henchmen were preparing an assassination attempt on the heads of the three powers, but they could not understand how the spies were going to carry out their plan, since the security for the meeting would be unprecedented.

Captain Roshchin, who was heading to Koktebel under the guise of the deceased agent Koshkin, had to find out what Junker had planned...
