Narrative:

The action of the movie "Urgent...Secret...Gubcheka" takes place in the middle of the year 1921, during the of the Russian Civil War. Yakutsk gubcheka received information about the upcoming transfer of fur abroad. To save the fur reserve of the republic, a special detachment of the gubcheka under the leadership of Red Army commander Aksenov was sent to the rear of the white bandits.

The detachment almost unnoticed manages to penetrate into the rear of the enemy and seize a warehouse with fur, but in the firefight is killed guide Lavrov, who according to the plan was to lead the Chekists through Taiga and lead them to the location of the 5th Army.

Left without a guide, the detachment was trapped and commander Aksyonov urgently radios to the center with a request for help. The Center urgently sends its contact with the call sign "Lesnik" to help Aksyonov, but Lesnik, who was traveling by steamer from Yakutsk, is arrested by White Guard counterintelligence.

The head of counterintelligence Captain Kandourov from his agent became aware of the fact that gubcheka sent Aksenov conductor, but neither his name nor his agent did not report his name, so Kandourov arrests all the passengers of men traveling on the steamer from Yakutsk.

But while Kandourov sorted out who of the five passengers is a Chekist liaison, Aksyonov is trying to buy time and find a way out of a seemingly hopeless situation....
