Plot:

The action of the film "Peers" takes place in the 50s of the last century. The plot centers on three friends-classmates: Sveta, Tanya and Kira, who graduated from school and are now entering adulthood.

Despite their friendship, the girls of the same age chose different paths: the modest and purposeful Tanya goes to study at a medical institute, the beautiful Kira enters a theater school, and the mischievous and frivolous Svetlana, having failed the exam at the university, gets involved with the idle slackers Yurochka and Gleb.

Hiding from her parents that she did not get into college, Svetlana hangs around with Gleb and Yurochka in seedy places, feasting on her father's money, but soon the revelers end up in the police after a fight at a dance, and everything secret becomes clear. After a comradely trial, Svetlana has to leave her father's house and make her own way in life.

After communicating with Yurochka and Gleb, this turns out to be quite a difficult task for a girl spoiled by her father's love, but love for the master of the watch factory, where Sveta was forced to go to work out of desperation, made her reconsider her attitude to life...
