Plot:

The action of the film "In the Black Sands" takes place in Central Asia during Civil warA new fighter, former Turkmen shepherd Chary Esenov, appears in the detachment of commander Pelytynya.

But in the very first battle with Shamurad Khan's gang, Chary abandons his positions and runs towards the enemy. After this, many in the detachment decided that Esenov was a traitor, but the actions of the former shepherd were dictated by completely different reasons.

Several years ago, Shamurakhad Khan killed his entire family, and according to the ancient tradition of blood feud, Chary had to take revenge on him.

Having joined the Red Army detachment, Chara did not understand the essence of the class struggle and what ideals his comrades were fighting for, but under the influence of the detachment commissar, a real transformation occurs in him.
