Plot A Zori here are quiet (film 1972):
The movie takes place during the Great Patriotic War in Karelia. In the front line zone, to protect the rear from German aviation arrives a platoon of girls anti-aircraft gunners of a separate women's anti-aircraft battalion. In this small rear garrison commands petty officer Vaskov.
At first the petty officer has no relations with the subordinate girls. He is a military man and is used to everything being by the book. And he treats women in uniform as ordinary soldiers. The petty officer believes that in such a difficult time of war there are neither women nor men, but there is a creature of the middle kind, which is called a fighter or commander of the Red Army.

The girls, who have smelled the powder at the front, are at first offended by the petty nagging of the petty officer, considering him a rear rat. But then they find out that the petty officer has also suffered grief. He had been badly wounded in battle and was now assigned to the rear.
But sometimes the war comes here too. Once the girls successfully repelled an attack of German bombers, they managed to shoot down one enemy plane.
And soon in the woods near the garrison, the vigilant Zosyanina notices two German soldiers in camouflaged uniforms and with large duffel bags. She reports what she has seen to Petty Officer Vaskov.
The petty officer realized that these were German saboteurs sent to sabotage some strategic object in the Soviet rear.
