The plot of Watson's film Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson: Hound of the Baskervilles:
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson have a new visitor. This is young Dr. James Mortimer from Devonshire. A few days ago his friend Sir Charles Baskerville, a member of the House of Lords and master of Baskerville Hall, died of a heart attack.
In the garden where Baskerville's corpse was found, Mortimer noticed the footprints of a huge dog. And shortly before his death, Sir Charles told the doctor of an old legend connected with this beast that had haunted the Baskerville family.
In 1742, his ancestor Hugo Baskerville stole a poor farmer's daughter and imprisoned her in the family castle. However, before he began his lovemaking, Hugo decided to have a drink with his friends. After drinking and snacking, Hugo went to his captive, but the room was empty. The girl managed to escape.
Furious at this failure, Hugo and his drinking buddies rush off in pursuit. Having gotten far ahead, Hugo should have been the first to catch up with his victim. When the Esquires caught up with him, however, they saw a gruesome scene. Over the torn body of Hugo and his captive stood a monster-like, huge dog.
Of course, this scary story would have impressed anyone. But not Sherlock Holmes. After all, the late Baskerville's inheritance was worth a million pounds. And his experience had shown him that murder had been committed for much less.
At this time, Sir Charles's nephew Henry Baskerville arrives from Canada. He was the only legitimate heir of the late lord, and therefore the main target for the criminal...
