Narrative:

The action of the film "Shot in the Fog" takes place in the early 60s of the last century. The intelligence services of Western countries became interested in the secret developments of Soviet science in the field of creating the latest models of fuel for jet engines, created by Soviet scientists headed by Igor Matveevich Panteleyev.

For this reason, the outstanding Soviet scientist has been living for many years under a false name – Evdokimov. His name disappeared from the headlines of newspapers and magazines, and the scientist himself, under the guise of a modest engineer, worked in a completely different research institute.

Nevertheless, despite such strict secrecy, Western intelligence agencies manage to track down the scientist and establish that Evdokimov is Panteleev.

And once during a hunt, a boot was stolen from Evdokimov's tent, which probably had traces of secret fuel on it. During an attempt to detain the criminal, a KGB officer guarding Panteleev was wounded...
