Narrative:

The action of the movie "Baltic Glory" takes place in 1917. The Baltic is engulfed in the fire of continuous battles. The pride of the Baltic fleet destroyer "Thunder" arrived in Kronstadt after a heavy battle in which it sank a German destroyer. In this battle, the most distinguished was Petty Officer Lyutov, who, together with the commander of the "Grom", Captain 2nd Rank Ordintsev, was wounded.

Seeing in Lyutov a promising sailor, the assistant commander of the ship Baturin personally conducts a lesson with the petty officer, but he clearly does not like the fact that Lyutov is friends with the Bolsheviks, which Baturin considered traitors to Russia.

Baturin tries to explain to Lyutov that the Bolsheviks to please the Germans, trying to make peace with the Kaiser and incite the soldiers and sailors to do so: to throw the bayonet into the ground and go home.

And Lyutov, who for his military services was awarded a French order and received a short vacation to Petrograd, believed Baturin and decided to no longer yakshasha with the Bolsheviks.

But in Petrograd, the heroic sailor accidentally manages to get to a Bolshevik rally where Lenin was speaking. Unlike what Baturin told him, Lenin did not call on the sailors and soldiers to throw the bayonet into the ground and make peace with the Germans by surrendering their land. On the contrary, Lenin urged the sailors to return to their ships and defend Petrograd from the Germans.

At this time, the provisional government, fearing a revolutionary mood among the Baltic sailors, colluded with the Germans and the Allies. It was decided to take the Baltic fleet to the open sea and put it under direct attack of the many times superior forces of the Germans.

This angered the patriotically-minded admirals and officers, among whom was the commander of the destroyer "Grom" Ordintsev. They decide to go to the side of the Bolsheviks, with whom they have converged positions: to take the defense near the Moonsund Islands and stand to the death, protecting Petrograd from the enemy. Together with his commander Ordyntsev, returned to the "Thunder" and petty officer Lyutov, who decided not only to repent before his comrades, but also to prove that now he is a real Bolshevik....
