Stories about Lenin: The feat of soldier Mukhin
1917.Provisional Government tries to prevent the impending revolution. The editorial office of the Bolshevik newspaper Pravda is destroyed, and a real hunt begins for the leaders of the Bolshevik Party. Lenin gets especially hard hit; the press dubs him a German spy, for whose capture a generous reward is promised.
Thanks to the soldier Mukhin, who was sent to Lenin’s apartment to arrest him, Ilyich’s comrades managed to hide him in the Gulf with the worker Nikolai Yemelyanov, and soon Lenin was forced to flee persecution to Finland.
But the separation from his homeland did not last long. In October of the same year, Lenin returned to Russia to lead the proletarian revolution…
Stories about Lenin. The Last Autumn
The film takes place at the end of 1922, beginning of 1923. Due to a serious illness, Lenin temporarily leaves work and, on the advice of doctors, leaves for a dacha in Gorki near Moscow, where he will be under the watchful guard of the Cheka. The doctors forbade Lenin to worry, which means that in Gorki he must be isolated from visitors who could cause this worry. In addition, the service personnel were strictly forbidden to start conversations with Lenin on political topics and discuss the current state of affairs in the country.
Nevertheless, Lenin manages to find out what happened in his absence thanks to his young nurse Sasha. She was going to marry the electrical engineer Kolya, but the strict party committee of the plant where Kolya worked forbade him to marry until the victory of the world revolution.
Having learned about this from Sasha, Lenin was extremely indignant and asked her to introduce him to her fiancé. Fortunately, Kolya turned out to be a very conscientious worker and told Lenin that a split was brewing in their Bolshevik Party. Taking advantage of Lenin's absence and hiding behind his name, the Trotskyites-Zinovievites tried to turn away from Lenin's path and betray the workers' cause...
