Plot:

The film takes place in our time, in Odessa. Boris Smirnov, nicknamed Watchmaker, received his nickname not only for his phenomenal punctuality and watch collecting, but also for the fact that he worked exactly like a clock mechanism.

Boris worked as a liquidator in a criminal organization engaged in contract killings. One day, after successfully completing another task, Boris received a new order. This time, the "Watchmaker" was supposed to liquidate his intermediary and friend Felix. The head of the organization explained this by the fact that Felix betrayed them, and as a result of his betrayal, four of the best "employees" of the organization died.

Boris makes an appointment with Felix and tells him that he has been "ordered". But Felix is not surprised and even asks Boris to do it, because someone else will kill him anyway. Before his death, Felix asks Boris to look after his daughter Sophia and gives him his watch.

Boris fulfilled the request of his old friend and took Sophia under his wing. But Sophia guessed what her father and the "Watchmaker" were doing, so she asks Boris to teach her everything he knows so that she can avenge her father.

Борис берет Софью в напарницы и вскоре они успешно выполняют несколько заданий организации. Но однажды в организации решили убрать самого Бориса. По его следу пустили убийц, но «Часовщик» смог переиграть киллеров, и теперь из дичи превратился в охотника. А дичью стал сам глава организации Павлов, который обитал в Москве. Теперь уже по его московскому следу идет Борис со своей новой помощницей.

Устранив своего заказчика, «Часовщик» советует Соне разбежаться и сменить профессию. Но перед отъездом в Москву Соня случайно увидела в доме Бориса отцовские часы, с которыми он никогда не расставался, и поняла, кто является его убийцей…
