Narrative:
Retired GRU major Andrei Shamanov (Kremin) is secluded with his young wife Nastya from the hustle and bustle of the city and dreams of a quiet family life. But the Motherland was not going to leave alone one of its best soldiers and soon Shamanov is visited by his former commander Colonel Voronov.
Despite the fact that Shamanov was retired, the colonel wants to sign him up for one particularly important assignment. Recently, a reconnaissance team of GRU officers disappeared in the mountains, which should have been on the trail of the largest organized crime group engaged in smuggling.
The criminals had connections in all power and security structures, including the Ministry of Defense, so Voronov decided to turn to Shamanov to avoid information leakage.
Shamanov needed, without revealing himself, to pass along the route of the reconnaissance group Voronov and identify in the mountains base smugglers, about what to inform the colonel by satellite phone.
