Plot:

An officer of the special forces unit "Piranha" Major Kirill Mazur together with his girlfriend Olga goes on an excursion to the Taiga. There they become unwitting witnesses of a hunt for people. While trying to escape, Mazur and Olga were shot at by criminals, as a result of which Olga dies.

At Olga's grave, Kirill swears to find the killers and take revenge on them, but the human hunters are on his trail much earlier. On the way from the cemetery, Kirill's car is attacked: the criminals kidnap Mazur and take him to one of their secret bases.

Kirill miraculously manages to escape from the clutches of the terrorists and escape, taking one captive with him. Mazur did not ask her where her boss was, he lets the girl go, hoping that she herself, willingly or not, will lead him to the trail of her master.

At this time, an assistant to the US Attorney General arrives in Russia with her bodyguard. The woman is investigating a case about the connections of one of the US senators, who was also a candidate for the US presidency, to the Russian mafia. According to operational data, this senator took part in a manhunt organized in Tayga by a Russian criminal group. The hunt for the US presidential candidate was filmed on video, which was stored at one of the criminals' secret bases.

Major Mazur receives a dangerous and almost impossible task: to find this film and deliver it to his American colleagues. Having learned about this task, Mazur readily agrees, because this official task best suits his personal interests, which means he will receive strong support in finding Olga's killers...
