Narrative:

The action of the film "The Man from Nowhere" takes place in the early 60s of the last century, when scientists from all over the world are trying to solve the mystery of the yeti. So far, only his tracks have been found, but no one has ever seen the yeti himself, so the most interesting mystery of the 20th century could have remained just a beautiful legend.

A young Soviet anthropologist, Vladimir Porazhaev, disagrees with this. He is sure that the yeti exists and even indicated a place in the Pamirs where, in his opinion, the Tapi tribe lives.

But the leader of the anthropological expedition to the Pamirs, Krokhalev, was very critical of the inventions of his young colleague and announced the end of the expedition, while Porazhaev insisted on its continuation until the Tapi tribe was found.

Having received a refusal, Porazhaev decides to go in search of Tapi himself, but on the way he falls into an abyss. And then becomes a prisoner of that very tribe of savages Tapi, who decide to sacrifice him along with one of their fellow tribesmen, Chudak.

Porazhaev manages to convince the savages to pardon them and let him go along with Chudak, whom he decides to take with him to Moscow. Now having all the evidence of the existence of the yeti, Porazhaev is going to show Chudak to the academic council and wipe the nose of Kuralev and everyone who laughed at him, but in Moscow the savage from the Tapi tribe gets into a whirlpool of interesting adventures.

He manages to take part in running competitions, fall in love and even become the head of a sports society. But the most important thing is that the Eccentric understood what it means to be a human being...
