Narrative:

The action of the film "Midsomer Murders" takes place in England in the early 70s of the last century. A murder takes place in Warbeck Hall, the home of the lord and peer of England Thomas Warbeck. His only son and heir Robert is killed, poisoned with a strong poison, which the killer put in a glass of champagne.

Since there were no strangers in the house, it became obvious that the murder could only have been committed by one of Lord Warbeck's guests present in the house who had come to celebrate Christmas, or by his butler Briggs.
