Plot:
The action of the film "Death of the Squadron" takes place in the summer of 1918. The Germans are rushing into Crimea, and the Black Sea squadron in Sevastopol is under threat. Due to the lack of communication with Moscow, the revolutionary committee decides to withdraw the squadron from Sevastopol and relocate it to Novorossiysk, but this decision is blocked by the squadron commander, Admiral Granatov and his staff, and the sailors themselves were not yet able to lead the ships through the minefields.
Formally, Admiral Granatov refers to the Brest Peace Treaty signed with the Germans, and according to which ships do not have the right to go to sea, but secretly he had already signed an agreement with representatives of the Central Rada, according to which the squadron was transferred to the subordination of the UPR (Ukrainian People's Republic).
And only decisive actions on the part of the sailors' revolutionary committee forced the admiral to give the order to redeploy the squadron to Novorossiysk. However, on the way the squadron received two ciphers from Moscow. In view of the fact that Novorossiysk was under threat of capture by the White Guards, Moscow ordered Admiral Granatov to turn the squadron back to Sevastopol, and in the secret cipher the revolutionary committee was ordered to begin the immediate destruction of the ships, in view of their possible capture by the Germans.
The Revolutionary Committee begins to carry out the order from Moscow, but counter-revolutionary sailors and officers, incited by a German agent provocateur, actively sabotage the fulfillment of this important state task...

Железная леди, эта комиссарша! А вообще фильм интересный в качестве не исторических событий, а скорее пример советской пропаганды
