The plot of the movie Cargo Unmarked (movie 1984):
The action of the movie takes place in the early 80s of the last century. The special services of the fictional European country of Mantia are preparing a large-scale provocation against their own government, which has signed a friendly agreement with the USSR.
In order to compromise trade supplies from the Soviet Union, the intelligence services enlist the support of an international syndicate involved in large-scale drug shipments from the East to Western Europe.
According to the plan of the secret services, the merchant ship "Pasadena", carrying a cargo of a large consignment of narcotics, should call at one of the commercial ports of the USSR. There "Pasadena" will take for appearance some small trade cargo and go to the final destination, in Mantia, where it will be eagerly awaited by local special services.
It is not known how this plan would have ended if not for the vigilance of a young Soviet customs officer, Evgeny Stenko. Helping his young friend to track down a farmer who had cheated him, Stenko records his meeting with a crew member of a foreign ship, the Pasadena, on which he had recently conducted a customs inspection.
Feeling that on the ship, something is not in order, Stenko initiates a second inspection and realizes that his intuition did not fail him: one of the sailors reports that in the hold hidden secret cargo without markings ...
