Plot:
When an old miller died, he left his property to his three sons. The eldest son inherited his father's most important asset - the mill, the middle son got a donkey, and the youngest son inherited only a cat.
At first, the youngest son decided that he would simply eat the cat and sell the skin, but the cat, unlike his new owner, turned out to be smarter and more enterprising.
С легкой руки кота, младший сын простого мельника становиться титулованным дворянином — маркизом де Карабасом. И теперь от имени маркиза де Карабаса кот является во дворец к королю и принимается всячески расхваливать своего хозяина. True, the Marquis did not yet have a castle, nor even a simple house in which he could receive guests. But this was not a problem, because he had a cat in boots, who could very easily get out of any difficult situation.
Having spotted the castle of a lonely ogre-wizard, Puss in Boots went to him on a friendly visit, during which he persuaded the ogre to turn into a small mouse.
And when the owner fulfilled the cat's request, the cat simply swallowed him. Now that the ogre's castle was free, the cat began to clean it up, because very soon the king and his daughter, the princess, were supposed to arrive here...
