Plot of the movie Cinderella in Boots:
Masha, the daughter of the commander Colonel Borovoy, arrives in a small Russian town where a military unit is stationed. In order to somehow entertain his daughter, the colonel gets her a ticket to a concert of the popular rock band "Tantsy Minus".
Soldiers from Sergeant Dergun's unit, who had specially asked to be on duty in the dining hall that evening, are secretly gathering for the concert.
But since there was only one young soldier in Dergun's unit, Private Lushkin, the "grandfathers" decided to hang all the work in the canteen on him. Like Cinderella from the fairy tale of the same name, Lushkin had to do all the dirty work for the grandfathers until they returned from the concert.
But unexpectedly, as in a fairy tale, a good fairy in boots comes to Lushkin's aid in the form of "demobilized soldier" Zhuravlev. Leaving home a few days later, Zhuravlev decided to fulfill the "spirit's" last wish. And Lushkin's wish at that moment was to go to the "Tantsy Minus" concert.
Zhuravlev agrees to help the young soldier, but on one condition: he must be in the barracks by midnight...
