Narrative:
On June 2, 1996, in the city of Ufa, the body of five-year-old Vadim Katalevich was found in the entrance of a multi-storey building. The boy was unconscious, with bruises on his body and blood oozing from his eyes.
The doctors miraculously managed to save Vadim from death, but the discovery they made was alarming: the boy had been tried to strangle and gouge out his eyes. It meant there was a sex maniac in town again. Even more cruel and bloodthirsty, because even neutralized two years ago, another maniac did not gouge out the eyes of his victims.
A month later, the unknown perpetrator again made himself known. This time his victim was ten-year-old Albina Vyazovaya, whom the perpetrator raped, among other things.
Surviving victims of violence and random witnesses gave a description of the alleged perpetrator, on which the operatives made a sketch...

This sketch identified one Mikhail Kazheparov, who resided in the city of Ashain the Chelyabinsk region, which is 200 kilometers from Ufa. The operatives immediately went to his place of residence and detained the suspect.
For neighbors and acquaintances of Kazheparov, his detention came as a real shock. Everyone unanimously assured that he would not hurt a fly, let alone commit the crime he was suspected of.
And Kazheparov himself held himself confidently, and unlike other maniacs did not try to pretend to be mentally ill. In addition, he had an alibi: he was seen at work during the crime.
However, the expertise showed that the traces left by the criminal at the crime scene could have belonged to Kazheparov. There was no one hundred percent guarantee, but it was enough to make Kazheparov "swim" and start confessing.
Only a year after Kazheparov's arrest, a murder occurs in Ufa on the same street. The victim, thirteen-year-old Katya Didukh, was raped and strangled. Just as in the two previous cases, her eyes were cut out.....
