Plot :

The action of the series "Wings of the Empire" takes place between 1913 and 1921. The plot centers on the fate of the young Count Sergei Kirsanov-Dvinsky, the worker Matvey Osipov and the aspiring poetess Sofia Becker against the backdrop of the most tragic and dramatic events in Russian history.

The First World War, two revolutions, then a fratricidal civil war. How could all this happen in a country where everything seemed so unshakable and archaic? What made people break what had been created with such effort over centuries?

Completely different motives forced the heroes of the series "Wings of the Empire" to make their choice on the side of the revolution. The young Vologda worker Matvey Osipov, whose sister was raped by a rich official, was filled with hatred for all the rich and the tsarist regime that gave birth to this monstrous social injustice.

The aspiring poetess, Sophia Becker, of German descent, the daughter of a fairly wealthy confectioner, could not marry the aristocrat she loved because she herself was “of mixed blood,” and her father was killed by an angry crowd only because he was German, and Germany was waging war against the Russian Empire.
