Plot:

The action of the series "Lyuty" takes place in 2013. Five years ago, the chief homicide department Major Maxim Lyutov (Lyuty) was sent on a mission to the Caucasus to search for and detain the well-known terrorist and arms dealer Akhmet.

However, when freeing the children taken hostage by Akhmet, Lyuty was seriously wounded and spent several years in a coma, and when he came to, he learned that the bandits had brutally dealt with his wife and two daughters.

And now, years later, Lyuty returns to service again. During this time, all the employees in his department changed, and his friend and deputy Viktor Markin, who was sure that Maxim had died, applied for the position of chief. Therefore, Lyuty's return to the department was perceived ambiguously: he took the position of chief from Markin, and Markin and the young employees did not like this.

He had a nasty character and a tough temper, and this repelled people. But the fact that Lyuty was a true professional in his field was recognized by both friends and enemies, and soon the young operatives looked at their new boss in a completely different way...
