Narrative:

The action of the series "A Matter of Honor" takes place in our time. In the late 90s, Pyotr Nazarov moved from the Russian provinces to the capital. Together with his family, he was forced to rent an apartment on the outskirts of Moscow, because the money earned from selling an apartment in the province was not enough even for a one-room apartment in the Moscow region, let alone in the capital.

However, his wife's brother advises him not to rush into buying an apartment, but to invest the money in a profitable business - computer trading. Naive and trusting Peter readily agrees, not suspecting that his brother-in-law is setting him up for professional scammers.

And when he realized, it was too late: no money, no goods, no apartment. The man, driven to despair, commits suicide, and his grief-stricken wife goes crazy and is sent to a mental hospital.

His two sons, Ivan and Alexander, are determined to avenge their parents, but different in character and temperament, they choose equally different paths to achieve their goal.

The elder Ivan is a desperate and daring man who becomes a bandit and very quickly reaches the top of the criminal world. And the younger Alexander graduates from law school and goes to work in the prosecutor's office.

Finding themselves on different sides of the barricades, the brothers stop communicating and see each other only at their parents' graves, but soon, finding themselves in mortal danger, the brothers understand that they need to act together...
