Plot:

The action of the film "We are two men" takes place in the early 60s of the last century in the Ukrainian outback. The main character of the film, collective farm driver Mishka Gorlov, is known in the village as a rude and uncouth man. He earned a good income, and even got some odd jobs, but in his thirties he still hadn't acquired a wife and children, so he left all his earnings in the pub.

But one day Mishka had to go to the city, and, having learned about this, a young village teacher approaches him. She asks him to take his son Yurka with him and buy him new pants in the city.

At first Mishka was very unhappy with this burden, but soon he really liked this small, but already independent man with character, because he, like Gorlov himself, grew up without a father. This trip in the company of Yurka noticeably influenced Mishka, forcing him to rethink his whole wayward life...
