Plot:

The film "An Extraordinary Summer" takes place in 1919. The plot centers on the fate of the former officer of the tsarist army Vasily Dibich and the famous playwright Pastukhov.

Dibich was returning to his homeland after several years of German captivity, while Pastukhov, on the contrary, was leaving his native places. They met at the train station in Saratov, when Pastukhov had a conflict with a revolutionary patrol.

Each of them has not yet sided with either the Reds or the Whites, but soon each of them will come to the only right choice for themselves. This choice was Russia, and Russia was fighting for the revolution…
