Plot:
The action of the film "Roadside" takes place in the late 70s of the last century. A village boy, Lenka Parasochka, after serving in the army, goes to the city to work as a bus driver.
His partner was an experienced driver, Pyotr Dem'yanovich Volovich, with whom Lenka soon became friends. Volovich, as Lenka understood, lived beautifully, in grand style.
A solid two-story house, furnishings, a new brand of Zhiguli. All this did not fit into the driver's modest salary, but seeing the question in Lenka's eyes, Volovich satisfied his curiosity: in his free time he worked in greenhouses, growing flowers in them.
Having fallen in love with Volovich's daughter Lyusya, Lenka readily believed, not realizing that his future father-in-law had earned this wealth not with flowers at all, but with "left" trips and other dubious schemes...
