Narrative:

The action of the series "Late Remorse" takes place in 1989 in Crimea. A gypsy woman at the market told Mila Arsentyeva that her daughter would become a fallen woman, and the woman probably would not have taken these words seriously if the gypsy had not told her something that she simply could not have known.

Mila had been cheating on her husband Kostya, a modest accountant, with an enterprising gynecologist, Tomasz Mishlevsky, for many years, and this old gypsy woman found out about it from somewhere.

And when Mila found out that her eldest daughter, seventeen-year-old Kira, was dating her classmate Sergei Sazhnev, she decided that the gypsy's prophecy was coming true.

Having never truly loved, Mila was unable to understand that Kira and Sergei were not having a light affair, but were serious and long-term, so when her daughter became pregnant, she forced her to have an abortion immediately.

Soon after this, Kira leaves home, severe trials await her, but the most important thing is parting with Sergei, and only twenty years later fate will bring them together again...
